Comment:

 The draggable markers code is still buggy. The motivator for it is, so far
 as I can tell, relatively limited. I'm happy to see someone pick this up
 and run with it, but as far as I'm concerned, it can also be dumped to
 2.6. Bumping for now, will come back to it later if there is time/desire.
