 http://trac.openlayers.org/wiki/CreatingCustomWFSFeature has some
 information on how one might create a CustomWFSFeature, with an example
 (FlickrBrowse). This can be turned into a more clear documentation by
 anyone else, but the best way to dive into it is probably to start hacking
 on the code.
