 I've added this to my sandbox and tested, it works fine with trunk.  There
 was one minor change to allow for different ratios in the getURL function.

 The test page works against http://labs.metacarta.com/wms/vmap0 and I have
 also tested it against my local mapserver cgi with some different data.

 I think it would be good to get this into the queue for 2.5.  What is the
 process for this?
