 For what it's worth, I later copied the theme subdirectory over, which
 didn't change anything.

 I also added the stylesheet directly into my html with
 {{{     <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"
 href="/theme/default/style.css" /> }}},
 but that didn't help, either.

 I'm stumped.
