Comment:

 !OpenLayers.Tile.Image always apply the alpha hack if its layer.alpha is
 true, without calling !OpenLayers.Util.alphaHack().

 If the alphaHack is not needed (if the browser is not IE), the tiles are
 not displayed (display: none).
